Security & Privacy
Perrenix holds some of the most personal things there are: your thoughts, your memories, your story. This page explains in plain language — no legalese — where your data lives, who can see it, and what you control at all times. The full legal version is in the Privacy Policy.
Your answers are transmitted encrypted (TLS) and stored in a data center within the European Union (Google Cloud infrastructure, Europe region). Processing follows GDPR rules. There is no transfer of your content to ad networks and no selling of data — Perrenix shows no ads and has no ad-based business model.
By default: no one but you. Every answer is private until you actively decide otherwise. You can share individual content — with everyone, your close circle, only family, or specific people — or mark it "delayed," so it only becomes visible after your circle of trust unlocks it. Answers to health questions are a special case: they are always private, can never be shared, and never feed into your persona. This boundary is built into the system, not just a setting.
Access for family members is never automatic. It requires the conditions you set: your circle of trust (people you named yourself by email), your unlock code — for example via the printed legacy letter — and the rules you defined for what becomes visible to whom afterward. You can change or revoke trusted contacts and rules at any time. An unlocking process already underway can be stopped by you.
You can change any visibility setting, disable the persona feature, and delete your account completely. Deletion removes your content from all active systems.
Perrenix is an independent project — not a corporation. That means: short paths, one point of contact (hello@perrenixapp.com), and decisions that don't depend on advertisers. It also means: only what can be kept gets promised — and that's exactly what's on this page.
